But creating good quality audio and video takes know-how
Tosh Lubek launched diyvideostudio.com to help small businesses and social media creators to produce their own quality audio and video content. He has drawn on his 40 years of experience in audio and video production to write hundreds of helpful articles.
Tosh Lubek started his career at Moray First Radio in Inverness, being part of the start-up team that launched the radio station on Tuesday the 23rd of February 1982.
He was in charge of the Commercial Production studio, creating the advertisements on the station. At that time Moray Firth Radio (MFR) was the smallest of the UK’s 22 radio stations, so Tosh had the opportunity to also present and produce radio programmes, record news items, and even be the sound engineer on a Scottish Folk album. At MFR, you had to wear many hats, but it was a terrific opportunity to learn and gain experience.
After Moray Firth Radio, Tosh moved to Northsound Radio in Aberdeen and then joined the management team responsible for three radio stations, West Sound and West FM in Ayr, and South West Sound in Dumfries. It’s during this time that he wrote and produced award-winning ads and trailers.
In 2010 Tosh set up his own audio and video production company, creating radio and television commercials, YouTube videos, Award ceremony videos, radio programmes, sound design for a dinosaur theme park, and audio tours.
Naturally, you don’t do all of this without learning a thing or two. So, Tosh decided to share the knowledge he’s amassed by offering face-to-face and online audio and video training. This included launching his diyvideostudio.com website. This is where he shares his 40 years’ of experience so that small businesses and social media content creators can improve their own videos and podcasts.
But why would you bother learning about cameras, microphones, and lighting?
- You can demonstrate your knowledge
- Website visitors gain an insight into your business
- New customers can get to know you before a meeting
- Video is the preferred communication medium for modern decision-makers
Whether you’re a business that wants to use video in your social media marketing, or a budding YouTuber, visiting diyvideostudio.com can save you a lot of time and heartache and develop useful skills.
But if prefer to watch videos rather than read, you’re in luck. Tosh Lubek also launched diyvideostudio on YouTube.
