Smartphone Video Workshop is a full day programme that combines our 1/2 day Make Great Videos with a Smartphone training with hands-on video production training with the goal of producing a 30–60sec Elevator Pitch Videofor you or your business.

Course Structure
1. Great Business 'Video Snapshots' from Youtube
A review of what other small businesses are doing. I explain what makes the videos work and explain how they can be duplicated on a smartphone.
Basic video skills – I will explain and discuss what you need to know to get going and keep going with making your own videos. Everyone has one video in them, the trick is to keep going and make more videos.
2. Smartphone "a studio in your pocket" — We shoot “Before” and “After” videos live in the session to show how easy it is to make your video much better by doing a few simple things.
The first will show how smartphone video can look shaky and unprofessional.
The second, with just a few additions – background, simple lighting and good sound – will appear much more professional.
3. Script, Lights, Camera, ACTION!
You will learn a simple workflow that will take you from your brief to a script and finally to your finished video. Along the way you will pick up simple tips to help you present more effectively in front of the camera.
At the end of the session you will have completed your first short business video that you can share on social media or your website.
This workshop should be relevant to a wide range of businesses, particularly those exporting, selling online or those wishing to create instructional videos.
The video training will be delivered at your premises. You will need to provide a room like a conference or boardroom with enough additional floor space to set up a camera tripod and video lights.
