Half-day Live Training Session
Make Great Videos with a Smartphone is a half day introduction to video production using your smartphone and is presented at your premises. The session is based on a Business Boost training session first delivered at Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce. The training was sold-out and delegate feedback rated the training as very good.
Course Structure
The session is in three parts…
1. Great Business 'Video Snapshots' from Youtube — a review of what other small businesses are doing with video. I explain what makes the videos work and explain how they can be duplicated on a smartphone.
2. Smartphone "a studio in your pocket" — We shoot “Before” and “After” videos live in the session to show how easy it is to make your video much better by doing a few simple things.
The first will show how smartphone video can look shaky and unprofessional.
The second, with just a few additions – background, simple lighting and good sound – will appear much more professional.
3. So what are the next steps to create video with your smartphone? You will get a simple workflow and list of inexpensive equipment to help you get started.
At the end of this session, participants will have the basic knowledge to make their own business video and understand that making great video is not beyond the means of any small business. This session should be relevant to a wide range of businesses, particularly those exporting or selling online.
The video training will be delivered at your premises. You will need to provide a room like a conference or boardroom with enough additional floor space to set up a camera tripod and video lights.
